What to wear for BSPS showing classes

Hats
- British standard skull caps/riding hats to PAS015, EN1384 and USA ASTMF1163 must be worn at all times when riding
Dress
- Riding jacket, shirt and tie or stock, breeches or jodhpurs and jodhpur boots or top boots
- Gaiters may be worn but chaps are not allowed
- BSPS approved waterproof jackets may be worn
- Body protectors are not compulsory, but are recommended for WHP and WH classes
- No body jewellery is permitted
Spurs
- Forbidden in all classes run under BSPS rules expect the Associate Horse and for riders 16 years old or over in the over 148cms Anglo and Part Bred classes
Whips
- May not exceed 30” (75cms)
- Hunting crops are permissible
