Jeremy Clarkson caught by Ledbury Hunt in Sunday's Top Gear
21 July, 2008
The fox was caught by hounds in Sunday night’s (20 July) episode of Top Gear.
Jeremy Clarkson as ‘the fox’ was caught by hounds in an episode of the motoring programme where the presenters visited the Ledbury Hunt.
Jeremy, in a Daihatsu 4x4 painted to look like a fox and trailing a scent, set off over the Gloucestershire countryside pursued by the hounds.
But animal power triumphed over motors when the car, despite being faster, became wedged several times in ditches and streams, finally slowing Jeremy down enough to be ‘caught’ by the hounds.
Fellow presenter Richard Hammond joined the Ledbury regulars to ‘hunt’ Jeremy. Having only had a few lessons and never having jumped before Richard impressed by keeping up with the hunt and staying aboard his horse.
