Ride across Exmoor for charity
12 April, 2007
Fancy exploring Exmoor on horseback while helping to raise money for a charity of your choice? Then be sure not to miss the Exmoor Foxhounds Lorna Doone ride later this month (Sunday 22 April).
The ride covers 15 miles of hills, bridleways and open moorland. There will be little roadwork, but hunt stewards will be on hand to help riders at crossings.
Riders do not have to be sponsored to take part, but there will be a prize for the most sponsorship raised as well as a prize for the best rider in fancy dress.
In addition, Exmoor Foxhounds will be making a donation of an as yet undisclosed sum from the proceeds of the ride to the Brooke Hospital for Animals.
