William Whitaker to ride for top owners John and Lisa Hales
20 August, 2010
William Whitaker is moving to John and Lisa Hales’ Shaw House Stud in Shropshire.
Ms Hales who owns Nick Skelton’s former rides Arko and Russel I, has offered William the ride on her up-and-coming horses.
And in partnership with Belgium-based Neil Jones she hopes to buy some older horses to help get William onto Team GB.
William told H&H: “I moved out of Michael’s yard about a month ago and will be going to the Hales’ in the next couple of weeks.
“It’s an exciting move for me. Lisa and John have always been a big supporters of British showjumping.”
