Kitty Boggis seeks Olympic horse thanks to sponsorship
7 December, 2009
Eventer Kitty Boggis has been given a “six-figure budget” to buy herself a potential Olympic ride.
The Global Sponsorship Group (GSG), which matches sportsmen with corporate sponsors, has offered 27-year-old Kitty, who ranked 29th in the 2009 British Eventing 100 riders, full sponsorship for a horse it hopes will take her to 2012.
She told H&H: “It is very exciting, but finding a horse of that calibre is more easily said than done.
“I am looking for something that’s already competing well at three-star as the Olympics are only a short time away.”
GSG also sponsors Kitty’s sister, Lucy, who is a heptathlete.
