New event director for Blair horse trials
8 March, 2009
Alec Lochore has taken over from Sarah Phillips as event director at Blair Castle Horse Trials.
He will be helped by Hannah Wilkins, who has been promoted from organiser to assistant director.
Alec will continue to run other events through his company Musketeer Event Management — he is responsible for horse trials such as Burnham Market and Houghton. His parents, Polly and Hamish, host and run the other Scottish three-day event, Burgie.
Sarah Phillips, Blair Castle Horse Trials director since 2002, is taking over as senior executive for British Riding Clubs and competitions at the British Horse Society.
