Hickstead investment group seeks support for Nations Cup
20 October, 2008
Show jumping supporters are invited to help secure the future of the UK's only Nations Cup competition by joining the Hickstead investment syndicate.
Hickstead's Royal International Horse Show (RIHS) has been chosen as one of the eight venues for the International Equestrian Federation's (FEI) new Nations Cup series (news, 25 September).
It now needs to find €300,000 (£240,000) prize-money for the class and has launched a chance to be part of a syndicate at the venue.
Hickstead sponsorship director Daisy Bunn said membership is likely to cost £10,000 and benefits will include lunch in the president's box during the RIHS, life membership of Hickstead for two, and access to the riders' lounge.
