Meet Tim Stockdale

Tim was born on 12 August, 1964. He lives near Northampton with his two children, Joseph and Mark James.
Tim has represented Great Britain in nations cup competitions on 34 occasions from 1988-2006. He represented Britain at the 2002 World Equestrian Games and earlier this year he became the first person to win the Nantes Grand Prix two years running.
He has also published a book called “Tim Stockdale Training Techniques” and has released a three-volume DVD collection entitled Successful Show Jumping.
Tim is also a bit of a TV personality, having taken part in a 1995 documentary on Show Jumping, in 2000 appeared on the Channel 4 series ‘Faking it!’ and in 2006 he was a trainer on the BBC ‘Only Fools On Horses’ Show to raise money for Sport Relief. He has also been used an expert commentator for show jumping events by the BBC.
