Nine individuals from across the full spectrum of equestrianism have been put forward for the British Horse Societys 2007 Queens Award.
The award is now in its second year, and is made for outstanding services to equestrianism. The inaugural winner of last year’s award was Jennie Loriston-Clarke.
The nominees have been put forward either by one of the member bodies of the British Equestrian Federation or the Army, BHS Scotland or BHS Ireland.
The nominees (click on the names for further information) are:

- Douglas Bunn
- Catriona Cook
- Desi Dillingham
- Prince Philip
- Hamish John Lochore
- Dawn Wofford
- Di Redfern
- The late Major WL Thompson
The winner will be named before the end of the year.
