Humberts sponsor team chasing
12 October, 2008
Team chasing has a new sponsor — the new owners of former sponsor Humberts.
Estate agents group Humberts went into administration this June (news, 25 September), but its new owners have been discussing the continuation of the company’s existing sponsorship with the Masters of Foxhounds Association team chase committee.
Committee chairman Joe Cowen said: “We’re delighted to have been given sponsorship for this season and next.”
As well as providing financial support for events, Humberts will be assisting organisers with promotion, too.
Mr Cowen added: “It is much better than we could have hoped for at this difficult time.”
The new owners of Humberts have an option to extend the contract for an additional three years in 2010, when the second season ends.
