Event Insurance Winter Dressage Championships

Gemma Green won the Speedi-Beet Advanced Medium and the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Openon Showtime at the Event Insurance Winter Championships supported by Horse&Hound.
Crowd favourites Roland Tong and Lord Of The Rings stormed the Equissage Elementary and Albion Medium Freestyles, while Badminton-bound eventer Ruth Edge took the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Novice Open riding Shadowfax.
Judy Harvey won the Event Insurance Intermediaire I Freestyle riding Richard Heley’s Fitzcerraldo. Jacky Stolper took the Nupafeed Advanced Medium Freestyle for the second year on Pippa Prideaux’s Geisha and was second on Wunders-Tag.
Gareth Hughes was favourite for the Teviot Elementary Open on Duvie but it was actually stablemate Timlei who took pole position with plus-70%.
Liz Fellows won the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Restricted on the British-bred Masquerade V. Another British-bred horse, Lynwood Executive, won the Elevator Prelim with Amy Pugh, 18.
Eventer, Daniel Henson, won the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Novice Restricted on Land-Vision, while Jo Barry rode Vivaldi V to win the Baileys Horse Feeds Novice freestyle, nearly breaking the 80% barrier.
Katerina Cox’s Maserati 12 took the Teviot Elementary Restricted.
