An exciting opportunity has arisen within our large equestrian centre at our Brackenhurst campus. The post provides daily support for the Yard Manager on the running of the yard and to ensure teaching and research requirements are met. You will deputise in the absence of the Yard Manager and supervise the Equine Technician Team and students. You will also maintain the essential daily care and welfare of horses on the yard and ensure that all principal duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Job Description are met. Applicants must be motivated and reliable individuals, with a good team work ethic, possess a qualification to BHS Stage 3 Riding and Care or equivalent with relevant experience and have excellent communication skills. The position is based on 37 hours per week on a rota system including weekends and Bank Holidays. You will share responsibility with the Yard Manager for on call emergencies on the equine yard outside of core hours. The post holder may be required to live on site.
