Renowned for its excellent equestrian facilities Bedgebury Park, Goudhurst Kent is a thriving equestrian centre, livery yard and rural holiday destination.
Centrally located in the South East, only an hour by train from London and half an hour's drive from the coast, Bedgebury Park is set in well over one hundred acres of glorious parkland adjacent to the famous Pinetum and the two thousand acre forest, providing the best off-road hacking in Kent.
Offering expert tuition in all disciplines at all levels, a busy competition schedule and clinics with top trainers Bedgebury Park is the place to keep, train or compete your horse, or indeed learn to ride.
The top class facilities have already attracted Olympic medalist Sharon Hunt. Ranked amongst the top fifty event riders worldwide, Sharon has brought her horses to Bedgebury Park in preparation for the 2012 Olympics and says A I really am very spoilt here I have everything I could possibly have dreamed of'.
Bedgebury Park also offers self-catering accommodation for riding holidays (with or without your horse) and rural breaks. The cottages and lodges are a stone's throw from the Pinetum where visitors can take advantage of a range of activities on offer in Bedgebury forest, including walking, cycle hire, nature trails, Go Ape and of course riding. A little further afield visitors can spend the day windsurfing, fishing, sailing, golfing or clay shooting. There are also several National Trust properties within striking distance such as Sissinghurst, Scotney and Bodiam castles, as well as some great country pubs.
