Since starting in 1988 George Smith Horseboxes has been repairing customer's vehicles and building our own horseboxes. Each vehicle is a combination of chassis and bodywork to meet our client's requirements. Whether you require a 2 stall box for racing or a 12 stall for international transport, we have the ability to meet your needs. The modern styling may attract your attention but owners are even more concerned with their ability to excel in harness and that is why they are built tough to last longer. Our premises have expanded from one small workshop hardly big enough for one vehicle, to the multi building complex that can accommodate up to twelve vehicles at one time. With close links to the racing and bloodstock industry, a large percentage of our boxes are true commercial vehicles earning a living for their operators and covering high mileages every week. For example one of our vehicles that is just 18 months old has now covered 180,000 kilometres! This surely gives confidence to all owners to know that our designs have gone through such arduous use. The result is a horsebox that is stylish, yet durable, comfortable yet hardworking. It is our after sales service that has given us the reputation that we now enjoy. To us it is more important to keep the wheels turning on existing boxes than building a new one. Our owners have benefited from our "on the spot response" to any needs they may have. This has included overnight collection and repair of a vehicle, to the supply of a courtesy box whilst the repairs are carried out.
