We are a rubber processing company based in Nottinghamshire specialising in the manufacturing of Rubber Surfaces for Horse Arenas. Our Premier surface is 100 % guranteed steel free Strip Rubber which is flat strips of rubber that sit on top of the sand and interlock therefore the rubber stays where it is, does not move, and does not mix in with the sand.
The benefits of using Strip Rubber in relation to any other rubber surface is that it is very hardwearing and the maintence of it is very very low. The Strip Rubber prevents your sand from freezing down to minus 10 degrees during winter. Last winter ( 2010 ) we recieved numerous testimonials advising that the Strip Rubber prevented the sand from freezing down to minus 13 degrees ! Prolonged periods of freezing weather can render an arena unuseable in some cases by up to 3 months of the year !!. The Strip Rubber is renowned for solving problematic arenas with deep riding issues, the reason for this is due to the fact that the sand has become very worn or in some cases the wrong sand has been used in the first instance.We recommend wetting and rolling the existing problem arena first to compact the surface down as much as possible before laying the 2" covering of Strip Rubber on top, this yields better results sooner. This surface is excellent for heavy or continual use wether the private facility or Livery it does not have tio be continually harrowed like other rubber surface arenas. Maintenance and aftercare can be seen on our website. The only Rubber for Carriage Driving Wheels will not sink into the sand !

25 mm Granulate from Tyres guaranteed 99% steel Free
This surface is manufactured from Tyres and is layed on top of your sand at the recommended depth of 2". The maintenance and aftercare is more intense as you need to harrow the surface to bring the rubber back to the surface as it tends to mix in with your sand. Rainfall will also help to wash off the sand andshow more rubber sitting on top of the surface. You get a mix of top surface and mix in the sand with tis product.Periodic top ups are required with this surface
Rubber Fibre Shred 99% Steel Free
This surface is in fact the above surface but we cut it down to a much smaller size which volumises it and it becomes a lot softer to the touch.The main reason for this change of physical size is because it sits on top of your sand much better than Tyre Granulate therefore does not mix in the sand therefore requires less maintenance and less top ups.
Promix
This surface is the above surface ( Rubber Fibre Shred ) but with a carefully blended amount of PVC granules mixed in which deadens the spring that Rubbeer Fibre Shred as, This just comes down to the Customer preferences. It will work and operate in the same way as Rubber Fibre Shred.
