14.1h 8 year old Appaloosa. Charlie Spot is a really genuine honest pony. We have had him for over 2 years and in that time he has spent the winter hunting, as well training and competing in unaff SJ, XC and ODE. He has also been part of the PC area team. He is so keen to please and is a very quick learner.He particularly excels at hunting and xc, never tires and never refuses anything he is asked to do. He is totally bomb proof to hack. Nothing bothers him, be it tractors, cattle, motorbikes, dustbin lorries - he is always steady and considerate and will happily wait at the side of the main road to cross. He is happy out alone, but is also very good with young and nervous horses. He would be extremely safe for a young teenager who is beginning to hack out alone. He is not a beginner or novice ride and wouldn't suit a very nervous or petite rider because of this build. But he would be absolutely ideal for a young, capable teenage or smaller adult (he rides bigger than he is). His current rider is a 14 year old girl, but he would equally suit a young teenage boy. Extremely easy to catch, clip, shoe and load. Happy to live in or out. Currently living out and is very hardy. Minimal maintenance and has never been sick or injured.
