Hows Racesafe — manufacturers of body protectors, racing colours and hunt clothing — have been announced as the new sponsors of the British junior eventing team.
The Racesafe sponsorship will help fund team training in the build-up to the Junior European Championships in Bad Segeburg, Germany in August this year.
Tim Howe of Racesafe said of the sponsorship: “I am delighted to be able to support the junior team. The team system works very well and these youngsters deserve all the help and recognition they can get.”
The British juniors have an impressive past record, having won 61 medals since the first Junior European Championships in 1976.
Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt, Tina Cook, Lucinda Green, Karen Dixon and Ginny Elliot all started their careers in the junior national teams.
