Buckinghamshire horse trader James Gray was found guilty of assaulting a police officer during an RSPCA operation to remove 111 equines from Spindle Farm, Amersham on 9 January.
Gray did not appear at Aylesbury Magistrates Court on 6 May but a police officer told the court that he had threatened to unleash a rottweiler dog on himself and an RSPCA officer and pushed him against the dog's cage.
