Five things you didn’t know…
1 She had a foal as a youngster. Former owner Pippa Akers tried to locate the offspring, but was unsuccessful.
2 She refuses to go in two-horse lorries or to be tacked up by strangers.
3 Tixylix has an Indonesian passport, but the Mendozas are unsure whether or not she was bred there.
4 She has won five FEI pony European Championships medals – team gold and individual bronze with Jessica at Jaszkowo, Poland, 2011, team gold in 2012 and team and individual gold with Zoe Adams, Freudenberg, Germany, 2007.
5 Tixylix has won more than £30,000 in prize-money.
