Richard Dunwoody
Richard Dunwood will undoubtably go down in history as one of Britain’s best ever jump jockeys. He won an incredible 1,699 races during his illustrious career which was brought to and end in 1999 by injury. Famous for his successful partnership with the housewives’ favourite Desert Orchid, Dunwoody won the Grand National on West Tip in 1986 and Minnehoma in 1994. He was champion jockey three times, and he racked up an amazing 197 winners in 1993/94.
