Mock exams to help BHS students

  • The Open College of Equine Studies (TOCES) is to introduce mock exams at the end of each of its BHS Knowledge and Care course study weeks.

Course director, Julie Brega, says: “Many students will find the course material and the mock exam of enormous benefit. It will enable them to become familiar with often-dreaded exam conditions, while our feedback will highlight areas of weakness that require further work.”

Any student studying for BHS Knowledge and Care stages 1-4 is eligible to sign on to a TOCES residential study week.

Students do not need to be a member of the BHS, although there is a discount for members and candidates will need to join the organisation before taking the actual examination.

The college is based in Stowmarket in Suffolk and runs a range of flexible study programmes, including a distance-learning degree course.

This year¨s residential study weeks run from 27-31 August, 8-12 October and 21-25 November.
