Katy Deithrick won the working hunter Search for a Star qualifer at Badgworth on Bodieve Jester.
The former eventer was loaned to Katy, who works as a waitress in Cornwall, after suffering a hock injury. About 18 months ago, Katy bought him for a small sum on the understanding that she would keep him until the end of his days. Katy and Jester enjoy show jumping and this was their first showing show. “We had everything booked for HOYS — tickets to go and watch, hotel, etc, but now we will be staying in the lorry. I really thought we would be beaten by the show horses, so I am really excited about going to HOYS!” |
