How to watch the equestrian Olympics on TV


  • All the action will be available live via one of the BBC’s 24 Olympic channels. You can access these via the BBC red button if you subscribe to Sky, Virgin Media or Freesat, or at www.bbc.co.uk/sport NB: Not all of these channels will be available on Freeview. In addition, key live action and top stories are being covered on the main channels.

    Monday, 30 July (eventing cross-country): 12.30pm-1pm BBC One; 1pm-1.45pm BBC Two; 1.45pm-2.45pm BBC One; 2.45pm-5.45pm BBC Three

    Tuesday, 31 July (eventing showjumping): 10.30am-1.15pm BBC One; 2.30pm-3.45pm BBC One

    Saturday, 4 August (showjumping team and individual first qualifier): 11.30am-2.15pm Freeview

    Sunday, 5 August (second showjumping round): 11am-2.15pm Freeview

    Monday, 6 August (showjumping team conclusion): 2pm-5pm BBC Three

    Wednesday, 8 August (showjumping individual conclusion): 12.30pm-1pm BBC One; 1pm-1.30pm BBC Two; 2.45pm-4pm BBC Three

    Thursday, 9 August (dressage freestyle, individual conclusion): 2pm-4.30pm Freeview and maybe BBC One
