Barry Geraghty and Monty’s Pass
Monty’s Pass became the third Irish-trained winner of the Martell Grand National in five years, following Bobbyjo and Papillon.
Winning jockey Barry Geraghty said of his ride, “Monty’s Pass never touched a twig. I just left him alone and he gave me one of those unbelievable rides.”
