Focus on Decopauge

  • Decopauge was bred in Canada and imported to Sweden in 2000. There he made a lasting impression in the show ring, as well as in breeding programs.

This stunning black and white, 166cm Pinto stallion has been selectively bred for dressage and jumping. His powerful presence is enhanced by his striking appearance of symmetrical markings. Decopague demonstrated he had a natural talent for dressage and jumping at a young age and today is winning with top scores, constantly creating a crowd of admirers.

Decopague and his new owner Shane Reilly have a great competition season planned for 2006. With the coloured horse industry thriving, it is our pleasure to offer you Decopague.

Decopague has produced athletic, honest and sound offspring, passing on the strength of his pedigree and his overall athletic ability. His foals inherit size, bone, spectacular gait, self-confidence and are of a modern type, giving breeders versatile talent for showing, dressage and jumping. Decopague’s noble charm and character is one of his trademarks, along with his symmetrical markings. He is producing approximately 85% coloured foals.

During 2001/2002 Decopague was jump training with Nicolas Parmler in Sweden. He said: “Decopague is the nicest coloured horse Sweden has seen. There is truly something fantastic about him and I am extremely impressed with his jumping ability.”

During 2005/2006 Decopague has been jump training again with a new trainer, who says: “He jumped outstanding! He really impressed us. I haven’t seen a horse in a long time so ambitious and wanting to do it perfectly.”

During 2003-2006 he competed at prix st george level dressage with Camilla Lindh. In 2003 he earned two dressage diplomas for qualifying at Falsterbo Open Dressage and Flyinge Open Dressage Breeders Trophy, Sweden. Camilla says: “Decopague is such a fantastic stallion. I know he has a future to compete at grand prix level. He is such a pleasure to ride and I will always admire his brilliance.”
