Warwickshire College has added a new equine course to start in September 2002. The degree is a four-year course with a year’s work placement in business management for the racing industry.

The course, which is run in conjunction with Harper Adams, is the first in the UK and is aimed at those looking to work in responsible positions in the racing industry.

The course currently requires 14 points at A’ Level, although all applications will be considered. Concentrating on racing administration and management, there are plans to include a racing tour and lectures from delegates from the racing world.
