Battersea dogs go online

  • London’s Battersea Dogs Home website aims to bring together the “serious and fun elements of being a pet owner”

The dog and cat rescue charity, Battersea Dogs Home, has a new website at www.dogshome.org

The site covers all aspects of the home’s work, including rescue, rehoming, rehabilitation and reuniting dogs with owners.

Sue Oak, the home’s IT manager, said: “The development of our new website helps us promote Battersea’s wealth of advisory services, such as our Lost Dogs Line and Behaviour Hotline.

“We also hope that it will reinforce the home’s position as a leading animal welfare organisation, whichcan offer help and advice to people taking on a rescue dog or cat.”

Battersea Dogs Home provides temporary shelter, veterinary, behavioural and animal care to lost and abandoned dogs and cats, while finding them new homes or reuniting lost animals with their owners.
