Aries, Taurus and Gemini

  • The year ahead

    ARIES (21 March – 20 April)

Independent, impulsive Ariens trailblaze their way through life. Their healthy competitiveness is well suited to the more active side of horse ownership, such as jumping, cross-country and racing. These energetic individuals thrive on the thrill of the chase; hunting is an especially favoured pastime.

SociableVenus smiles on Arien subjects in late April/early May when you will find yourself centre stage at a top equestrian event. Your popularity will receive a boost in October when friends and colleagues will go out of their way to help you realise a cherished dream. The first week in November may be challenging with some financial juggling. However, by the end of the year you’ll be in a position of strength; a young horse with a white-striped nose provides the key to a lucky break in the week before Christmas.

    TAURUS (21 April – 21 May)

The most earthy of the signs, sensual Taureans feel very much in their element in the countryside. They appreciate good home-grown food and their animals are well-fed and groomed. These loyal, but slightly stubborn characters spend their money wisely, but will pay over the odds for fine horses or livestock. Not the most energetic of signs, Taureans prefer to relax, sit back and watch a show, rather than be in the spotlight.

    2003 highlights

Mid-May could prove especially fortunate for those looking for a new home; a blue door with a brass handle will be the key to a lucky find. The second week in July brings an old friend with good news concerning sponsorship for a show you wish to become involved with. A project started earlier in the year will get the go-ahead in October when authority figures will be favourably disposed to listening to your ideas concerning a dressage competition.

    GEMINI (22 May – 21 June)

Quick-witted Geminians like nothing better than to be involved in many different projects as they are easily bored. Eventing gives them the stimulation they need and their gregarious natures favour sociable occasions, where they can take part in teamwork. Geminians like a fast-paced environment – horse racing and show jumping are both activities that appeal to their restless natures.

    2003 highlights

Figures in authority may cause some problems early in the year. However, an opportunity to show off will present itself in the third week in July when an admirer will give you the opportunity to shine. A particularly lucky week at the start of November sees you buying a stunning horse at an affordable price.
