The United States Equestrian Federation has short-listed the following horse/rider combinations for the endurance competition at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The definite entry will be selected from this group prior to the championships.
The horse/rider combinations in alphabetical order are:

- Lindsay Graham riding Monk
- Ellen Rapp riding Berjo Smokey or SA Belshazzar
- Deborah Reich riding DJB Juniper
- Heather Reynolds riding Ssamiam
- Jeremy Reynolds riding Sir Smith
- Michele Roush riding Ivanhoes Debutante
- Margaret Sleeper riding Syrocco Harmony or Syrocco Reveille
- Ceci Butler Stasiuk riding DJB Cytron Kon JMF
- Janice Worthington riding Golden Lightning
For some of the riders short-listed to represent the United States in the sport of endurance, the competition will be a family affair; Heather and Jeremy Reynolds are married, while both Jeremy and Ellen Rapp have their identical twins as their grooms.
